What skill level do I need to take a course?
Our courses are built around professional methodology, but designed so anyone can follow along — whether you're just starting out or already working in the field. No prior experience is required unless specifically stated in the course description.
Do I get lifetime access to a course after purchase?
Yes. Once you purchase a course it's yours permanently. You can start, pause, and restart as many times as you like at your own pace — there are no deadlines or expiry dates.
Is a certificate available after completing a course?
Yes. Certificates are available upon request after course completion. Contact us through the support page and we'll issue yours promptly.
What file formats are included in downloadable products?
File formats vary by product and are listed on each product page. CAD drawings are typically available in DWG and/or DXF format, compatible with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and most professional design software. PDF versions are included where relevant.
Can I use downloaded files in client projects?
Free and Core members may use downloads for personal and educational purposes. Commercial use in client projects requires a Guild membership, which includes a commercial licence covering all CB downloads.
Where do I find downloads included in a course?
Course downloads are linked directly within the course pages. Once you have access to a course, all associated files are available from within the relevant lesson or module.
What is the difference between Core and Guild membership?
Core is a monthly membership giving you full library access and 20% off all store purchases. Guild is an annual membership that adds free CAD downloads, a commercial licence, and 30% off store purchases. If you plan to stay with CB, Guild is significantly better value.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes. Core membership can be cancelled at any time with no further charges. Guild is an annual commitment — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I upgrade from Core to Guild?
You can upgrade at any time from your account page. We'll apply a prorated credit for any remaining Core period toward your Guild membership.
How do I access my courses after purchase?
Courses are accessed directly through your CB account. Log in at craftnbuild.com, go to your account, and all purchased courses will be listed there ready to open.
Which devices can I use to take courses?
Courses are fully accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile. We recommend desktop or tablet for the best experience with technical content and downloadable files.
What happens if I lose access to a course?
Your purchases are permanently linked to your account. If you experience any access issues simply contact us and we'll resolve it promptly.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. All transactions are processed through Shopify's secure checkout.
